so i thought about this, i wonder if a eg coupe with an si conversion would be a coupe turned into a hatch... dude that's mind boggling, that's right i said mind boggling.

I would not buy someone else's boosted project unless they had all the receipts, and have dyno graph and proof that it has been properly tuned.

...even then I'd be very cautious and i personally still wouldn't buy another man's boost project.

The Si conversion? Well we need to know exactly what that is.

Do you happen to have any pics of either vehicle, including engine bay shots?

thanks for clearing that up. SOHC are a waste of time and money. just get like a gsr or something DOHC. much better performance and more bang for the buck.

That's your opinion. This could very well turn into a multi-page debate on why some people swear by the SOHC, and others say B series for life, etc. etc.

You're speaking of the SOHC being crap as if it's fact, and it's not at all. That's your opnion, and IMO you're being a bit too broad to say I could even agree with you.

Saying "go B series cause a SOHC is crap" is no different than someone saying "go K series because B series is crap" or "go H series because B series is crap" or "go boost because N/A is crap" or "go V8 because 4 cylinders are crap" etc. etc.

See my point?

so not true, plenty people are making PLENTY of power on sohc set-ups... for instance the sohc motor from the accords...

it might not be always the easiest route but its possible to have a very high horse power SOHC motor. me personally i like the dohc motors but i would never knock on what someone else is going with.

like anything to have a high horsepower fast civic is going to take alot of money, we drive econo-box's not race carzzzzz. and thats my rant

i totally agree with you. ive seen people that have high horse power SOHC, but that just not me. i look at it like that are. but i have put maybe 1 grand into my integra and this dude put like 2 grand in his and im still getting him. in my opinion DOHC is the best way to go. but people like to go their own way and keep their SOHC and i respect that 100% of the way.....
