Default my new project.. eg6 build

well i recently trade my project 03 Gsxr 600 Alstare for this



picked up a 1993 Civic hatch
has a 2000 civic si front end
93 si dash
gsr front and rear brakes
gsr rear disx conversion
h22a swap with lsd trans
17inch wheels
gsr front seats

also came with
h22a4
high hp intercooler
14 rims
auto meter gauges and tach
airsearch turbo
p28 spoon chipped ecu

now for pics
the heart of it

the old motor

gsr cloth front seats grey leather rear


and the new motor for it

all the parts that came out of it


frist thing i did was ripped out the carpet and interior to clean it reupholstered the door with red saude and added a mirror block off to the passanger side
front seats

rear seats

old doors

new doors

semi cleaned interior


will post more updates as i go

looks like a good platform. although i personally wouls put 92-95 front end back on it

Anywho, Bro...YOU got a nice project on your hands. What motor is that, that you picked up? I just stripped down my ej1, i know the stripping process is the most fun. Have fun with this. Keep up updated. Here's a pic from mines for motivation.

Seems like a ton of work. Good luck to you! I haven't seen that front end swap in quite some time. I'm not a fan of it, but to each his own.

yes i plan on keepin the 00 front, it looks shitty now but i got some work to do

the motor in it is a jdm h22a the motor i picked up is a usdm h22a4

UPDATES
10/16

well i got some more stuff done to the hatch so i figured id share

pics
cleaned the inside

engine bay needs to be cleaned and painted

started removing lower section if the radiator support

another shot of my door panels

some door panels i picked up from my local junk yard for 15

ugly 17's gotta go, got some 14 on it now

still workin on the light but made some adjustments and got the front fitting better

also added 99 si mirrors

the building begins


i love me some h22's even my delsol has one



that all for now more updates soon

heck no it pure jdm yo, haha naw that thing is hidious i wanted to remove it but the original owner welded everything together and when i say everything i mean from the middler flange on the header all the way to the muffle
here some pics of the muffler to show how had it is


havent measured it yet but i would say a good 3" past the bumper

Hey man can one of you guys,since you have the interior apart, please take a look at the driver's side door and let me know where does the wire(green/blue) from the door switch goes to. Cuz I've been having some issues with the maplight not working when the driver's door is opened. Any help is appreciated.

are you reffering to the door chime wire? if you have a pic of the wire it migght help explain

It's the green/blue wire which is attached to the driver's door jamb switch(underneath the little black rubber seal).
