Default choose ap1 and ap2

Looking forward for a s2000 but, which has greater performance and more space.

nah, u just get a chip and the ap2 will rev to 8k, the only reason they don't do that from the factory is because of warranty issues 00-03. exactly the same motor and everything.

I'm pretty sure that the AP2 will beat out an AP1 by a very small amount on a run around the track.

If performance is your criteria than it doesnt really matter... honestly, get an AP2 if you can afford it.

this is true due to different tire sizes. Pretty sure ap2 wheels are using wider tires.

If you don't want a headache then get an ap2. My belief is that it is a stronger car (as far as reliablility)

Go with the AP2. You will find most AP1 guys trying to convert to AP2. Few thousand more for a bigger motor, wheels, nicer headlights taillights, bumpers, interiors...

ofcourse this is all a matter of opinion. Unfortuneatly ap2's are depreciating a lot faster than ap1's.

i personally love my ap1 exterior more, but ap2 interior styling is a lot better looking. Infact i just had my front bumper replaced and i went with an ap1 bumper again. I love the look if it with the oem lip

Ive had 2 AP1s and i love them. Idk the AP2 doesnt feel as rigid as the AP1. AP1 feels more like a pure sports car, at least to me lol

I was going to attempt to help you out by finding a video I once watched where Best Motoring (at-least that's who I thought did it) took an Ap1 and an Ap2 and raced them on a circuit. But now I cant seem to find it. Anyone else know what I am talking about? Or am I just going insane?

Yeah, thats what I always wonder. But hey its still a decent video, that i cant manage to find.

Also I doubt this helps. But I am attempting to get my hands on an Ap2 within the next year. Because I do kinda sorta like the ricey headlights and tails. Not to say however if a clean, local, low miles ap1 came along that I wouldnt jump on it however.

as some of you know, i let a friend drive my ap1 a few months ago and he spun it and tore it up a litte (ripped the front bumper off messed some paint up.)

Anyways while it was in the shop i was going through withdrawals so i went to carmax and "test drove" a 2007. It did absolutely nothing for me... I was very displeased with it.

I have not driven an 04-05 though...i imagine thta i would like that more considering it doesn't have the vagina stability control and dbw.
