If your car only blows hot air, see this
My car was only blowing hot air. I had it set on the coldest. My a/c doesnt work. Just hot air, and it was getting annoying, so I finally decided to check it out.
I would recomend buying a haynes repair manual if you havent already. It has a lot of helpful diagrams and info on how this works.
There are several cables controlling everything. There is one inside the engine bay that opens up a flap that lets warm coolant from the engine into a radiator, which has a fan blowing over it to make you have the hot air. this thing moves when you turn the dial for mixing air.
Mine was unhooked, so I just hooked it back on. This still didnt fix it.
So I looked under the dash, and for some odd reason I found out I had a cable missing.

anyways, I just messed around with this little hook for a while and I found out that moving it away from me made it take in cold air.
and pulling it towards me made it take hot air.
I have not fixed the cable yet, when I go to the junk yard Ill look for one.
for now, ill just be reaching under the dash to turn it on.
