Last month I got a code 8 which went away once I reset the ECU. Even with the code 8 the car ran perfect. Well last night the code re appeared but still the car runs great. I was under the impression that the car would NOT run well with this cel( will not rev over 3500, run like ****). Anyone hase any insight? Sensor Going bad but not yet shot??

 

Your distributor bearing is going out. You will have to replace it soon.
