Season is over: post your winter mod plans
Finished up for the year and now to pass the time I'm looking at modding stuff. This is as she sits now:

Other then stripping the bike down to clean, service, finish safety wiring I plan to do:
Yoyodyne Slipper

woodcraft clipons

crg black clutch lever

possibly dymag pro aluminum rims 7 spoke

considering HRC harness and ignition harness (renders bike completely useless for street)
trying to locate yoshimura headers for full system
and maybe if I'm feeling really baller
lightech remote adjuster

I'm only going to fix whats needed to keep my SV running and do some more suspension tweaking. Very little $$ spending on the bike, and instead do this in the spring:

If that wasn't all the way on the west coast.....
I'm still looking to do cornerspeed at VIR maybe though I hear if you've ridden for a few years already it's kinda eh.

I'm going to mount a factory naked fairing when it comes in next week and then I've got to start collecting all the parts necessary to throw some handlebars on my SV.
It's gonna be rough not having a garage though.

Plane tickets are ~$300 to miller, and that place is absolutely fantastic.

Sorry guys, but i'm building a 2005 GSX-R600 into a stunt bike this winter. Pics and updates to come
. as for my daily rider, i'll probably just throw a slip-on on it and call it a day.

How is the weather like in California during Winter?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Slightly cooler than the summer but still in the 60's-70's. It does rain every so often. We have a year round riding season.

Looks like I'm moving to California after graduation!
How is the living expense down there?
For a typical college student...

that's why I love living in California and better yet southern California where just because it's winter don't really mean ****. Sure maybe a rainy day or two but I can ride on those warmer winter days still.

yeah I see that. I'm secretly searching for a used 600cc trackbike at the same time. Doing a school on something other then my own bike would just make me want a 600 more. Would take a little to get up to speed and comfortable on it too.

It's worth noting that there are parts of California that see snow all the time, but in So Cal and the bay it doesn't really ever get too cold. The lowest lows we see in Sacramento are around 30.
