Default Offset

I'm getting a pretty good deal on Rota Circuit 8's that are 15x6.5 w/ a 38mm offset. I've read some thigns that say anything less than a 40mm offset isn't really ideal. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? How will it affect my driving if I get these rims? Thanks

Im not sure on this because you have a different year, on my civic you need a 42 or 40 offset so your tires dont rub when you turn or hit a bumps in the road, also if you are planning on lowering your car or it is lowered you will definitly want the 42 or 42 offset. ill get back when i know for sure which it is.
