can i throw on a 99 front to a 98 without doing a 99-00 conversion?

 

i mean just the front bumper.

 

You have to check the headlights. It will fit right on but the 96-98 bottom of the headlights tilt forward i believe an the 99-00 tilit the opposite direction. My wife has the 00 and hers are different than mne. Thats all i can think of.

 

thanks for the response. would you happen to have a pic of a 98 civic with 98 lights, hood, fender with a 99 front? so everything is 98 xcept the front bumper

 

hey just so that you know the 99 00 bumper will not fit directly on... this is because of the difference in the headlights between the 2 models. on the 96 98 the headlights are a bit more rounded unlike the 99 00 which were made with less of an arch. ... also the grills are different. the 99 00 is much longer than the 96 98. i jjust did the conversion from 97 - 00 front end about 3 weeks ago on my hatch so i know what im talkin about. ill post some pics up later so you can see.

^ Yes. I mean, you can try and force the bumper on but I'm sure it would come out looking like **** with bad fitment.

 

yes, but you have to do the whole 99-00 conversion. either you stick with 96-98 or go with the 99-00 conversion.

 

No bumper wont fit. yes you have to do the whole conversion bumper grill headlights hood fenders. buy yourself a ctr or ek4 lip and be happy
