Tire Size
Hi all,
I have stock ap1 rims and can I run 225/55 on the rear versus the regular 225/50's? I think it funny with thinner tires in the rear while the front is taller.
Any input on this

first off u make zero sense.
second i think what your trying to find out is why the rears are wider than the fron adn why is the front tires have a higher profile.
to answer you question having a staggered seat of wheels(rear wider than front) makes rear wheel drive sports car more manageble to drive of u have any oh **** moment. profile size is directly related to the width of the tire the wider the tire the bigger the profile gets even though the # stays the same. So thats why the stock sizes are 20/55/116 front and 225/50/rear they are equal in hight.
