Default sticky throttle...

When I let of the gas, it chills at the same RPM for a second before dropping.

Is this normal for DPFI (88 DX).

I sprayed the linkage at the TB with generic WD40 but it didn't do much.

Is there a common place where it could be binding?

I can lube the crap out of everything and it still does it on my DPFI civic.

So I dunno.

mines doing the same thing but when it happens to me my car will idle at about 1000-1200 then ill shut her off and start her again without touching the gas and the rpms jump to 2200-3100 and only go down if i pull up on the gas pedal. i checked all the cables and linkages and im still stumped

if you move the throttle by hand and it sticks, it's the throttle body, if it doesn't, I'd say its the cable
