yup, havent been active here for a while due to some stuff in life, but i managed to finally find the perfect daily after months of searching. decided to go oldskool, back to the roots with something different and unexpected. its a diamond for sure, where rust hasnt killed like 99% of whats left still running out there. ive seen a few 3rd gen civics and rexs over the past few months, but luckily i waited and found this BEAUTY with 28K ORIGINAL MILES. EVERYTHING WORKS...EVEN AC
plans include a drivetrain upgrade and some tasteful cosmetic mods, but only the best parts will go on this charmer....just like my RRRRR that everyone has seen me show. btw, the R is getting a few little things here and there, but she's pretty much done and will stay a sunday driver. im not losing her to fukcing thieves and vandals.
i plan to do a shoot with the R and rex together when the rex gets cleaned up. here she is now as i picked her up with some drag wheels borrowed from my bro...enjoy

Wow, glad you found one Arnold. It looks like my first car, 87 CRX. Same color scheme with blue interior. I bought mine in 2001 and it had 23k on it.
damn, that little thing is so damn cool!
there really aren't any of these alive over here, all eaten up by rust
shame it's an auto, but great as a daily cruiser. make sure you keep us updated on what you do with it

I know where there is a car exactly like yours. A little old lady drives it once a week tops. Clean as new. When i saw the car i often thought of following her to ask her if she'd sell. Not the stalker type though...not women that age anyhow.
Awesome pick up BTW

Lovely. My friend had one exactly like that, and offered to give it to me when he got a new car and I passed it up because it was in poor shape. I wish I had gotten it.

I do missed those college days with 12 Valve Mulit Port PGM-FI & Front Torsion Bars days! My dream was the Mikuni Side Draft Carb for my 87 Civic SI but after all the college commute & all the sundays autocrosses, I got ride of it once grad. Till today, I still feel it handles better then my R, crazy you may say. God, I feel old when I see this CRX 1.5 Dual Port PGM-FI since I still remember it new at the Honda Showroom under $10K! I think I still have this CRX brochure hidden somewhere.

I bought one when they first came out. Red with black/grey int. It had a ghey lil' wing on teh back that yours seems to be missing. Most got broken by peeps shutting the hatch with it. It was very flex-a-bull and didn't give any downforce.
My first new car and my first Honda. Ordered it in Oct. and took delivery on Dec. 23 and drove it home on X-mas Eve and it was SNOWING which never happens in Tejas on Christmas. I took it to be an omen of good things. And it was.
Note to O.P.: You can haul about a pickup load 0' stuff in one of these if you remove the pass. seat and pack it to the rafters. Truth.
