Alright here is my situation. I have a 97 Special Edition that no longer has the original radio in it, I put a Sony Xplode in it. But sadly a few weeks after I got rid of the original radio I had a wreck and both my bags deployed. I am in the process of replacing the bags and am wondering will I be able to clear any codes that come up that originally I would clear via the radio?

What codes are you talking about clearing through the Radio?

If you're referring to the SRS light that will pop up - look at my "Bypassing SRS for Aftermarket Wheels" thread - I have how to reset it.

 

if you blew the bags you will need a new SRS computer....

 

With both Honda and Acura, the radio has no function with any other system.

You're also (most likely) going to have to replace the shock sensors too. The code's will need to be cleared b4 any further checks of the system can be made.
(and yes, you may indeed need a SRS module ultimately)
You were fortunate to have not involved your Insurance Company. If you had claimed for the Airbags, they would have totaled the vehicle on you.

Hopefully this works out for you. there's a reason why Airbag repairs are so expensive...
