SKUNK2 or Ground Control
im lookin for coilovers for my civic and im want peoples opion on which is better... SKUNK2 or ground controls... other suggestions will help too thanks
I have the Skunk2's. I like the locking perch design of the Skunk2's as opposed to the single locknut on the GC. You can get different spring rates with both companies...
spend the money and get the apexi ws full coilovers.
but right now im using skunk2s, and im happy with them. Just need shocks, but when i get the chance to really upgrade them, i will.

I have the Ground Control C/O kit for almost 4 years, almost 90,000 miles.
I paid like $390 or I love them. Never had a problem with them.
However, I would go with a Full-Set up coil/over kit. The kits are now cheap.
Id save my money and buy a full coilover setup, not some cheap sleeve and coil combo. When you think about it, you are looking at around 400 for a name brand coilover kit and around 400 or more for a good set of shocks. Why not save up a lilbit more money and get a kit like the Apex WS or the JIC SF-1s?
I heard the Apexi WS coilovers are not that stiff and the ride is some what little stiffer than stock. I have not rode in a car with this coilover but its just what I heard.
Some GC's are the same price as Skunks now. The Limited Edition GC are $280. A lot of places are charging $280 now for Skunks. You could probably find Skunks for $250, but I'd save an extra $30 for GC.
