Alright guys ive asked this once before and done a ton of searching i know its deff possible I ordering a B16A in a couple months to swap into a 92 eg with cable trans
H motors says they have a hasport hydro to cable conversion kit for like 300$
but i found this on hasports site
http://hasport.com/shop/produc...d=179
if im ordering this setup http://hmotorsonline.com/shop/...30005 is that all i need and if so why is H motors trying to charge 300$ for somthing thats half the price??
any help clearing up the hydro trans to cable car conversion would be greatly appreciated i just need to know what exactly is needed

That link you showed for the motor comes with a hydro trans and the other link you posted is for cable to hydro conversion not the other way around also if you do have hydro you don't have to buy that slave master cylinder or are you trying to go with a cable transmission?

Its Hydraulic. '92+ civics use hydraulic clutches, '91 and earlier uses cable.

its so much smaller than the one on my em2 and my clutch feels so crappy any idea why it feels like a cable clutch and not stiffer like a hydro?

Could you explain that in a little more detail, different people have different expectations of what a clutch should feel like. Personally i've driven about 30 different manuals, some definately had clutches that felt different than others, although honestly unless a clutch is pretty extreme I really don't notice it, I just get it in and drive.

ok well my 01 coupe has a pretty stiff clutch not really hard like a full blown race clutch or anything but its a little harder to push down to the floor and when i get in my hatch the clutch just sinks to the floor pretty much like pushing the gas pedal
theres not very much "tension" in it at all my bros lude is a 92 as well and his clutch feels alot better than mine

Thats how most of the ones i've driven felt, its also what most people want. Now if it just sinks and doesn't return you may have air in the lines or a bad master or slave cylinder. But I think from the info i'm getting everything is fine and you just want it to feel stiffer. If you're swapping to a B-series you could always throw in a stage 2 clutch and it should feel a little stiffer.

fvck off dude post have nothing to do with anyones knowledge of cars around here honestly the only reason i thought the car was cable trans was because it felt nothing like any other car with hydro trans and i was told here on h-t that some 92's came with cable trans so im a noob for beliving false info and assuming my car had a cable tranny w/e dude
