Ok well I've read through all the posts about "bumper lights" being always on along with the corners.. Now I have done a ghetto mod of changing just the power lines from the bumper lights and the corner lights. The only problem is only 1 of the 2 bulbs in the corners blink.. What I am trying to get to is that I want BOTH bulbs in the corner lights to BLINK while the bumper light stays always on.
How is this possible?? Can I just splice and run both power lines from the corners to the single power lines for the bumper light?? Or is there some other way of making ONLY the corner lights blink?

I think its the wiper/blinker control unit.

Its under the driver's side dash on the fuse panel.


Mine was all fried on the inside. I was having problems with my intermittent wipers and with my turn signals working correctly.



Replacing it fixed both problems.

 

well heres what you do:

1. cut the power wire of the corner light that stays on.
2. from the power wire [pigtail] of the corner light that stays on splice it to the power wire that blinks.

that should make it both blink at the same time.

3. cut the power wire of the bumper lights.
4. splice the power wire [pigtail] of the bumper light to the power wire of the corner light that stays on.


so, both the corner lights should stay on and blink while the bumper light stays lit.

i never tried it yet, but thats just my theory.

try it out, let me know how it goes.
