Default good tuning solution for a newbie/forced to be self tuner

I live up in alaska where there is only a few people who have a clue about tuning. So I will be tuning my set up unfortunatly.

I would like to hear some opinions on what tuning device I should go with since I am new to this and would like to buy something I can tune.

I have a 2001 accord 2.3l sohc f23a5 non v-tec

I would like to keep the price low as possible without putting my engine in jepordy.

Thanks!

As I mentioned in your other thread, NepTune RTP. It's about the easiest and cheapest solution that doesn't have a bunch of bugs (Like Crome). It's even cheaper if you get one used.

eCtune is the next up on the price list if you don't mind having to buy software and two pieces of hardware separately, plus dealing with registration setup.

Good luck.

If you're going to do it yourself, at least give this a read before you try to do so:
