why this question you say. is because me without checking any engine info
i went and swap out my d15b1 for that d15b6 wich i now know that its out of an hf crx and this thing came out with only 62hp. and i dont have the money to go for a different engine.
so far im running this engine with the dx 5speed trany and the dual port intake manifold but i do have the intake manifold from the hf with the injectors and i got a d16z6 vtec head that was given to me
can u guys help me please

All the D15's 88-95 are the same bottom end. The head is what makes the difference. I know on the 88-91 there''s an oil pressure valve thing on the top of the block you have to take out for the mini me to have VTEC to kick on. Not sure if the 92-95 have the same thing in them or not. So as far as stock horepower, it's pretty much all in the head.
