Default Keyless entry not working after installing aftermarket radio?

I have a 96 civic ex with keyless entry, and now when i installed the aftermarket radio, the keyless entry doesnt work. I read somewhere that if you remove your stock headunit, you have to like rig it up and hide it behind your dash so you can actually still use the keyless entry. Any help apreciated...

Yes. Did you save the stock radio?

No, he meant that in addition to your new deck, you have to leave the stock deck in place because it contains the keyless module for 96-98 civics.
You have to connect acc, pwr, ground, as well as the entire green connector...connected to the oem deck.
Thats how it is. Really.
Go get a Y harness from best buy/circuit city/etc that is specific for this job.

You're smart. Many toss the stock radio before realizing their error.

The rear of the stock radio has two connectors. The larger 16P connector is for the radio itself whereas the smaller connector is for the keyless remote. Reconnect the small connector to the stock radio. I think Pdiggity has supplied the other necessary information.
