Default Bored and Stroked H22A's?

Ok, I'm still new at this so go easy please...

I know the B16's and B18's can be bored out to 2.0 with relative ease. I also know people make 1.8 stroker kits for the B16A's.

Now: I've seen 2.6 liter strokers for the H22A. (2point6's car).

Question is: Can you even increase H22A displacement by boreing? If so, what if you bored it, and stroked it, leaving final displacement somewhere close to 3.0 liters.

Think about it. What would be so bad ***.

Gimme the hammer if I'm way off.

Are you sure b16s/b18s can be bored to 2.0? I thought they usualy just use the b20 block?

2.3 is the largest you can bore the h22a block to with the 2.2 liter stroke. 90mm bore. The bore spacing on b-series are more ideal because they are farther apart allowing them to be bored up to 87mm from what ive seen.

So do you have any idea what the final displacement would be with a 2.6 storker + a 2.3 bore? Must be like 2.7 or so.

I think the B16, B18, and B20 all have the same block, the B20 just happens to be the biggest, that's why you can bore them to 2.0.

bore x bore x stroke x #of cylinders x .7856 = ci

it would gain displacement by boring it of course, everything would. but the most displacement you can get out of an h22 block is 2.6. even that is pushing the limits of reliability.
