J's uses their own whale pen!s intake? I guess it would be decent with that baffle on there. Too bad they didn't make a kit that inclulded one.

Yeah i agree with you E that is just a little too steep....You could probably replicate the car for half that.

Another 29K for labor and parts.
For a race car, I didnt think the price was all that steep. Im not saying it couldnt be cheaper but it doesnt all that bad.

We were talking like used/theft recovery shell/build your own b18c/custom cage/etc. etc.
It does have a lot of crazy overpriced FRP J's pieces like hood/fenders/doors/hatch

would never be buying the car brand new. Labor I can handle myself aside from the $2500+/- you have to take out of the price for the cage being redone. It's still not a race car either. It's a TT car. Not the same thing

no diagonal(s) in the cage, no harness bar, not to mention the upper bar being RIGHT next to your head when clearly there is room to put it snug up against the roof of the car...WTF?
