Default JDM Red "H" Emblems

what's up everyone?
i'm a newbie Honda owner of a 2008 Civic Si, and a newbie to the board (glad i found it though)....my issue is regarding the red "h" emblems floating around on e-bay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...63010

are these a direct oem fitment? i know that they're originally designed for the Jap Type-R...but, what would it take to fit my ride?? supposedly they have a couple prongs on the back that need to be removed...
but, i read that in some cases this isn't necessary....any help would be appreciated before i go dropping the loot on these (even though they're quite bad-*** whether they end up on my ride or not)

Try http://www.passwordjdm.com under 06+ civic parts

[There's the search link on the upper right hand corner. Its the same color as the badges you want. There are threads discussing this you can find from this tool.]

I don't remeber exactly, but I believe the front emblem is smaller than USDM, and the prongs do not line-up.

You need to remove the prongs. It's always been that way even when I had a 92 Integra GSR you needed to remove the prongs.

Well, I happen to work for Honda and I've never heard of anyone being able to order anything from Honda of Japan thru their local dealership. It's most likely that the dealer you are purchasing from is buying from some vendor here in the states, not directly from Honda of Japan. It's just not done that way if it was I would of been one of the first to order everything I could get my hands on along with everyother tuner out there.

I dont know which car it came off of but my front lines up just fine prongs and all, my rear is off of a DC5 ITR and is smaller then factory and I had to clip the prongs.
