I have been running a skunk2 short shifter for almost 5 years now in combination with the sk2 weighted shift ****. It has been great for me. Some people will let you know that the polyurethane bushings will go to hell in a few years but I like the feel.
I bought my car (not the one in my sig for sale) with a no-name short shifter. Looks as though the bushing are original. Have not had any issues with it in the 15k miles I've put on it.
