I just picked up another 91 civic hatch with 217k on it and original motor very clean car from a 80 year old man original owner too... well I was driving it and noticed first thing was I had to mash the brake pedal whole way to the floor for it to slow down... not stop slow down. Ha... meaning they wont lock up or do some serious braking when I need it... so first thing I did was check the brakes, then bleed all the old **** out... put a bottle of new in and bleed it out to clear the lines completely and then put in another new bottle and still the same problem... brakes kind of got a little better but I think its all in my head... does this mean I need a new master cylinder I don’t really know.
if the lines arnt leaking no need to change the hard lines. id do the master. also ckeck the rear wheel cylinders see if the leaking any

yeah nothing is leaking when i checked the brakes out... so we think its the master cylinder then? i could get some steel braded lines... that would be pretty sweet

no, what you have is a badge. the EX only came in 4door, and only from 90-91. and yes, i do have a 90 civic EX 4door 5speed.
