my friend bought a set of the spoon drain plug and wonder which one goes to the oil pan or does it matter. the shorter or longer one?

its easy to find out using the trial & error method.
Try installing the longer or shorter one in the tranny first. Which ever one doesn't fit will tell you where the other one should go.

why dont you just wait untill the next time you change your oil and put the one thats the same size as the oil plug in the oil pan?
