Default upgrading valve train for cams

i been wanting to get my valve train upgraded i am only going to get spring and retainers and keeping same valves,,,, it maybe a silly question but if am not changing valves does the head still need to be removed? i just droped my b18c1 into my teg and dont feel like taking the head off for the 3rd time in a month ,,, lol

if you're still keeping those valves I don't see why you should take the head off... but if it was me I'd get bigger valves and make sure they are all in perfect shape

i have a b16 head which i might just build and make me a poor mans R, i dont really want to mess with my car right now maybe in a month lol. i been working on cars for like the past 2 months like every day,,,,, ill take it slow for now ,,,,,, thank you

some many things to man but i know i want some cams at least stage 2 to keep my car street frienly,,,

IMO over sized valves are a waste for DD

what cams are you running? you always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always,

match cams to the proper valve spring. buying random spring rates for who knows what cam is just retarded.

If you're not gonna take off the head, you have to use an air compressor to keep the valves from falling when you take off the springs and retainers.

yeah am planing on doing a mild set up aiming for at leat 185-200 whp so maybe stage 2 cams i wanna be as reliable as possible
