Default Block sealer

has any tried block sealer before or anything similar? Not sure if I got a bad headgasket or cracked head but it's always eating coolant. Your supposed to put the liquid in your radiator and let it idle for 30 min. And drive it around for a day or something and it's supposed to go where the crack or where ever the gasket is leaking and it'll turn to a "glass" like liquid sealant that gets solid from the exhaust heat. it'll just be a temp fix untill I get the motor swapped but just a little worried it will seal other things that aren't supposed to get sealed as it goes to where ever there is an air leak and seals It. What's your guys take?

yet, there's alot of stuff out there too that's designed to do something yet doesn't really work or even makes the problem worse.
