I've only had the car a week, so I haven't done any mods yet but I plan to. Decided to turn this into a build thread.

they finally come out with a nice gray! yay!

 

you know what i love about the 09's??
they have the typical honda appearance.
and by that i mean the paint on the bumpers not matching the rest of the car hahahaha

but congrats on the purchase man, i know you'll be happy with it.

 

front of the 09's are so damn ugly.

 

yea i noticed also it looks less sporty.

Just looks like a natural "gray" to me.

They should have retained the civics overall grill shape instead of adopting the Accords grill shape. Other then that I like it.

The chrome trim below the 'H' on the trunk is a little strange to me. at least this grey looks better than the 'galaxy grey'

 

we need to see one lowered and one lowered with the hfp kit.

 

that front end is really, really growing on me and I was sold on the wheels well in advance..

heheh...I think it just looks that way in the pics.

Thanks...yeah, I'm not sure how I like it. I've been considering painting it to match the grille.

09 sedan bumper &gt; 07-08 sedan bumper. I hated the foglights in the grille.

OP nice ride . The only thing I recommend is painting that upper grille area that's grey to black.

 

trust me all hondas are that way at the same angle you were at.

galaxy gray and polished metal look the same to me hahaha
they just wanted a more realistic name??
cuz i figured that the interior looks somewhat related to a spaceship and the color galaxy gray just went with the whole space theme.

 

I was checking out the new 09's and hate the trunk piece, and the front grill thickness.

To me the big chrome grill on the R18's look like a saturns grille. .

Plus the rims look ok looking straight at them but from any angle they look weird.

Congrats to the OP tho, I think hes the first on HT to get a 09

I dont really care for the chrome piece and I haven't decided how I feel about the new bumper. But, congrats on the new car!

 

I like the bumper...hate the grill and the chrome peice and the rims are funny looking. but im jealous anyways sick car my man, nwo get the HFP kit and HFP suspension before u make a mistake and by something else

Does anyone know if honda has a paint available to match the front grille? I think matching that rear chrome piece to the front grille would be a nice touch.

This may be blasphemy but I peeled off the vtec stickers from the sides. They don't really fit a sedan IMO. Looks much cleaner w/o them. They came off super easy too...probably since they weren't even on the car for a week.

 

Not to fond of the sedans, but the new Si's are [freak]ing ****. I wish I would have waited instead of getting the shittiest Si made (02') but whatever , hatchbacks are the ****.

 

does it have a red stitched shift boot?
