Default my new slim fan

My Fal Slim Fan came in today, now I am just waiting on my Mishimoto radiator and hoses to get here. I hope to have them by the weekend.

Nice, where did you get that from, and how much?? My fan is starting to go I think, and my rule is when it breaks --> upgrade

For $50 you could have gotten a infinite auto 10 inch slim fan. They are half the size of the fal and you can mount them to push or pull. I run one and they are top notch. Never had a problem with it. Nice looking fan though.

These guys are frauds. I read an article the other day that said FAL radiators add 120% more style AT MOST. Buyer beware.

I finally got a chance to put it in, What a pain in the a$$ that was. The fan brackets would not fit with the Mishimoto radiator. The mounting holes would not line up and there was no clearance for the hoses. After a few hours of cutting and grinding with a dremel and barrel sanding and redrilling on my drill press to get it just right I finally got everything to fit as it should. Don't mind the filthy bay as it is all being redone over the winter.

nice fan, i've got a black one attached to my full-sized Koyo.

i must admit, the fan moves a LOT of air when it's on...but it's not too 'slim' in my opinion because of the rubber shroud it has between the fan case and the rad itself.

Nice, shiny radiator with a FAL fan and a dirty old D series in the background
