I only posted because these haven't been out that long and I haven't talked to anyone else who actually had a set.

Since I haven't had the chance to try them, I can't say how they perform.

I got them installed along with a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs.

They are a little stiffer than stock on the compression side.

On the rebound side they are significantly stiffer than stock.

They provide way more control without that much added harshness.

So how are these compared to the Reds? Are they a replacement for those?

Just wondering where a non adjustable shock that looks like an OEM replacement fits into their lineup when they seemed to have one already...

EDIT: Nice box though

I heard from an unreliable source that the Reds are being discontinued and these are the replacements.

I also liked the new boxes.

I think they were 75 dollars each.

I had a tough time finding a place that had them in stock.

The Tire Rack was out of them.

So I called Koni and they recommended a place called Custom Spares that had them in stock and had awesome prices.

I picked these up and installed them on a daily driver. I had issues at first with some squeaking and clunking noise in the rear. I replaced all three shock tower bushings and metal collar and still had issues. It turned out to be the OE metal/rubber dust boots that were binding on the shock body. I removed them on the rear and all is well. I'm looking for a larger diameter rubber to keep dirt out. OP were you able to utilize the dust boots with out problems? Im starting to think my OE dust boots were warped.

I have them installed with H&R Race springs and so far so good. (not sure how long the shocks will hold up)

Oh 75 bucks is a bit over what I paid. Shox.com had the set at $260/ free shipping for a few weeks. They now sell them at 308/ free shipping .

If you weren't impressed then why did you take the time to write that in a post? No one on here cares if your not impressed about his thread.

I actually decided to run them without any boots on them.

I don't have quality/useful feedback on this since my OEM shocks were blown and I replaced the springs at the same time. FWIW the shocks are dampening the H&Rs better then I anticipated. Though I am expecting a shorter life on these shocks with the spring I used. Ill update after I have run them longer.
