my shift linkage inside my s40 transmission started acting up so i looked around for a new temporary tranny while i took some time to rebuild the y8

i found a great deal on an s20 del sol si tranny with only 50k for $300 shipped!

looking forward to running the 4.25 final drive instead of my y8's, should be fun! only bad thing is i have to take apart to trannies now to remove my lsd out of the old and in to the new ;(

im stoked for this new tranny! just thought id share it with yall lol

you must own the only honda tranny that has shift linkage inside the tranny

 

well, i dont know what its called its the rod that connects the linkage outside the tranny to the shifter fork inside that shifts through the gears, or maybe its the shift fork itself? either way, im stuck i was stuck in fourth lol
