Default Trying to make 200whp!!!

hey guy's,

ok so i have a 02 hatch with some minor upgrades:
F5 Fujita Cold Air
Progress Rear Sway
Skunk2 Rear LCA'S
GC coils
Koni Yellows
Lots's of little thing's
Mostly suspension, but my goal is to reach 200whp as cheap and as easily as i can. I want to go all motor, and i was thinking of swapping to a Type-S head. My ? is, are any sensors or brackets different from the A3 head, will it bolt right up? Im 17 so money is tight and i will be doing all the work myself. And how much power could i get from this. Thanks

If you want 200hp for cheap, you'll have to go turbo. Good luck getting an a3 to 200+hp with anything less than $3k

yeah sorry cheap and N/A are not two words that go together. If you had the Z1 engine originally 200whp+ is easy with standard bolt ons. The k20a2 is close, but falls a little short.

I would go K-pro, RH, Exhaust and call it a day until you save up enough money for something serious.

Don't bother doing the A2 head swap.

Cheaper and less headache and less down time to just buy an A2 longblock.

Then do I/RH/E and K-pro, 200whp no problem.
