Default What parts from an '03 civic fit in a '95?

Well my '03 civic got in an accident and it looks like it might be totaled. If it does end up being totaled I plan to part it out. I was wondering though I really like the dash of the '03 civic ex, can install that in my '95 also how about the steering wheel and shift **** and boot? Thanks for your help.

you need to do some cutting and trimming and custom wiring to get the dash to fit...

shift **** and boot will fit

wheels... maybe even the seats if you trade the rails

Thanks for that info. Do you know what kind of custum wiring would be involved? Do you know if the steering wheel would fit and what about the center counsel?

Has anyone here switched a dash like this to an older civic? If so do you have any pics and how hard was it?

Would the wiring for the gauge cluster be pretty much the same? And how about the steering wheel?

as long as you have the pin out it should not be to tough to wire the gauge cluster. problem i can see is the digital odometer. not sure how that works. i never took my brothers civic (04) apart to look at anything except to wire in subs. maybe ask this same question in the 01-04 section?

I did but it got moved here. I don't have any electrical experience so i would probably have to take it to a shop if it can be done and look right. I think that sure would look good. Do you think the center console from the 03 would work? So I guess if i did do it i would be the only one with this done on H-T?

everything you swap from the dash will take a great deal of modification, there is no walk through there is no faq, this will involve you looking at wiring diagrams, and doing most of it by trial and error.

Thats what i was affraid of. I'll probably have to just part it out. It is interesting to think about though. So the shift **** should fit on with no real modifications?
