Default b16 Crx Axle Problem

Recently replaced broken axles in my 91 b16crx, used a 91 integra ls axle for driver side, with a half shaft from 91 integra, and 2000 honda civic si axle for passenger side. They fit and felt fine while driving but when I first drive the car after it has been sitting for awhile (couple of hours), it clicks and then stops after a minute or two. (gets louder and faster as i accelerate) It was doing this with the old broken axles, except it didn't stop after a few minutes so its kinda confusing!

It's not a popping noise like you would usually hear from axles, this is something different and I don't know what it is?

Any suggestions?? Any help would be appreciated!!

i don't think you are supposed to use a 2000 civic axles with the 90-93 intermediate shaft.....

Thats what I originally thought, the old axles were from a 2000 civic si and the half shaft was from a gsr integra, so i bought the two civic axles thinking i could just replace those! But when the driver side axle got stuck in the half shaft, i had to take the half shaft off and then the parts store kept giving me the wrong driver side axle, so i had a 91 integra half shaft in the garage and figured i would try it, it fits and all but i will definitely replace the passenger side one with a 91 integra axle instead, I didnt know how much it mattered on the passenger side since it fit. I thought i could use either, 91 integra or 2000 civic si...but it makes sense to keep them all the same....since I have a 91 half shaft!

Thanks for the help with that!! Any suggestions about the clicking though????

Ive gone through 5 engine setups, 3 suspension setups, and about 18 axles in the last 4 years. The perfect combination which works every time is a 90-91 integra intermediate shaft. 88-89 Integra axles and finally make sure your engine is sitting level in the engine bay. Some aftermarket mounts cause the bseries to sit unevenly in the engine bay which throws out your driveline angles. Most people overlook this. Use a level, then use washers on your engine or tranny mounts to space the engine to level. If its not level you will continue to have axle problems.
