Default Transmission chugging along.....

So I have a 2000 LX sedan with 120,000 miles on her.

My tranny has been shifting really weird for the past several thousand miles. I changed the fluid and it got a little better but now its back to what it was.

I don't drive hard by any means just the speed limit and normal accel to get there. When the car shifts though it shifts hard and sometimes just revs up hard for a split second while driving.

What could this be???

the tranny is toast. try to avoid driving it or u will destroy everything. I did a 1000mi trip w/o knowing about my prob. and the accual gearing pearsed the casing.

yes have it rebuilt.
the goodwill issue will only apply if you are a customer in good standing with the dealer and you do all your service work their. that is the way a good will service repair will work
