Default ANDYJT's 2001 PY Integra TYPE R Rebirth Thread. 56k die....

Picked her up in Jan. Shes my 2nd R. Pretty stripped when i got her but the price was right and i had/ have most of the parts to put her back together with. A fresh paint job was first on the list. The car has had a lot of half assed work done on it before, its time for me to fix her up.

Ill keep the thread updated within the next week or so when its out/ during paint process.

comment way! -Andrew

The Beggining: What im working with!

Update: Quarter panel removal!

Update: Quarter panel on!

Update: Prep work and cutting in of paint!

Update: 5/17.... paint and paint :D

5/26/08: More Paint!

She then made her way back to my house in June. Sat in the garage waiting for more parts to arrive/ wrong parts to arrive/ i ordered parts and kept changing my mind. I made a lot of progress in the past few weeks on it. I dont get to work much on her since i have such a busy schedule.

Fresh pictures as of today. ( First night outside the garage since the fresh paint.

Final parts arriving:

First week of October/ Last week of sept.:

*Goal was to get it running by MM 10/3. Spent 1 overnighter(on a work week to get her done) Thanks to Ryan and Bryan and Terry who helped me out a lot. At this time most of the interior was finished, front end on, harnesses in, etc etc and got her running. No exhaust yet nor Teins. They go on next week. Anyhow. On with the pics

Mugen Twin Loop (JDM) Omni-power test pipe, and O2 Eliminator.
***CLEARLY you can see a flaw in UPS's shipping quality.*** Im seriously still PISSED. I was ready to put it on tonight too

Nice build, can't wait to see it with the new suspension. Are you still going to put the Mugen wing on?

And Yes. Im putting the Mugen Wing on. I still need to get it repainted along with an OEM kit, when i find one.

Nope. That was updated as of last weekend. I plan on putting alot of stuff on this weekend/ finishing up everything and should have it all up to date.

Thanks for all of the comments :D

AHHH i see what your asking.

The box that honda shipped the quarter in was the size of half the car. I had to take it out of the box to get it home and it ended up getting dented on the body line on the way home. None the less. A cheap thin magnet sticks to every inch of metal on the car.
