Default LOOK WHATS WRONG HERE

im puting a d16y8 in my 91 crx hf.. i have a d15 bracket and a ef mount and this is what im geting.



please help me here

I did a similar thing in my Hf and I had to swap out the metal engine mount bracket that bolts to the engine itself to get it to line up with the motor mount. Take a look at your old mounts to see if you can't do the same.

Did you loosen the mount on the other side before putting the motor in? The mount on the other side has an adjustment built into it.

this is the problem you must use the 88-91 bracket that bolts to the bolck under the timing cover.

91civicross the mount on the other side isnt even on yet...
and yes the bracket is from a ef d15 and i got the 90-91 si mount from autozone..

and if i unbolt the mount and line up the hole the motr mount will set crooked.....
grrrr &gt;8-] pissn me off...

just to be extra clear... the mount on the right is from autozone and the part bolted to the block under the timing cover is from where?

yes the mount is from autozone and the bracket bolted to the block is from a ef crx d15 ( from wat the person i bought said)

hmm thats strange, when I put my 96 zc in we used the mounts from the old d15 and everything bolted in perfect.but i guess the sedans could mount in different?

You need the mount and bracket from the same car... EF Sedan Mount + EF Sedan Bracket = Success!

Got my HF swap with a 97 cx motor(not by choice) and they just weld my **** in...looks just like that only welded....I didn't care long as it was sturdy enough and my CRX was running again...until I'm ready for a swap of my choosing though the Si tranny I picked up along with it I'm linking it for now quick little POS
