Default What would make the clock reset in my car every time I shut it off?

I have Accord 1994 has OEM Honda 6 CD Changer which was not working
So that I bought new Sony Xplod CDX-565MXRF 10 CD changer
Anyways I installed it and it is working fine
But the problem is every time I shut off my car the time reset and radio reset all saved channels and ask for code
I’m worried about the way I connected the power wires, I connect them to the fuse box below the dashboard

you need to have a constant power connected to it too. it should be to the red wire on the aftermarket headunit

WHOA!

Why did you connect them to the fuse box? You probably connected them to the incorrect ones - ie ones that do not have power when the car is turned off. What's wrong with using the stock harness?

yea connecting them straight to the fuse panel is not a good thing...but to answer your question about why your clock would reset every time you turn the car off....with the stock harness power wire wise you have 2 wires the red one and the yellow one...the red turns the radio on when you turn the key to accessory while the yellow one is a "memory" wire and has constant power even when the car is off thus keeping the clokc and stations set

check your back up radio fuse under the hood too. Its a 7.5 amp fuse. They tend to blow for
some reason with an aftermarket headunit
