Are V-AFC compatable with I-VTEC cars.. ??

s-afc works so does v-afc according to a dude who installed it on CRSX..do a search on there. I would assume that the v-afc would not, but they posted pics and everything

 

Well as for the v-afc working with the k20 motor, its not compatible. I have called apexi themselves and asked if the v-afc was compatible with the k20 and thier reply was :"no it is not, but we are currently in the process of making one for it." So I dont think the k20 can use the V-afc. As for the s-afc working with the k20, I wouldnt see why not. All it controls is air and fuel. The s-afc is compatible with all cars and all makes. The v-afc wouldnt work because of the vtec controler. The vtec and i-vtec are different set ups and would point out why the v-afc wouldnt work with it. I'll keep looking and keep everyone posted.

A No. The V-AFC VTEC controller has NOT been tested on the new Honda i-VTEC systems. The i-VTEC system is fundamentally different from the previous generation and is NOT compatible with our controller at this time.
