Jus a question .. if I was to get a DC5 Type R LSD for 500US.. is that price ok..

The LSD is used but only like 200Kms...

 

wont fit the gearing on the DC5-R is different than the Type S.

 

5oo.oo for a DC5R LSD? Thats a real good price. I got a price of 15oo.oo for a new one, so 500 for a used one is real good. Got with it, and let me know if you can get another one.

 

So you guys are sure the OEM "R" LSD won't fit our Type S.. ??

 

Well last I heard was that you could use the LSD on the type S. HASport did a Civic Si with a k2oa2 motor with LSD thus turning it into a civic type R, so I guess that the LSD worked for it. everyone that asks the question is told on CRSX that the R has diffrent gearing, hence it wont work.

Well I would rather see if its true or not, rather then take someones word for it. Plus I have seen evidence that it works. HASports is located here in Arizona and they have explained to me,many times.. hehe I bug them alot looking for parts for the Type S. So I'll look more into it and see what specs I can pull out.

 

Hasport is the king of custom, they seem to be able to do anything

 

Yeah, they are pretty good. They are on 40st one block south of university..They have alot of stuff, but the thing is that the are a junk yard.. HAS= honda auto salvage.. I was surprise to when I found out. but they are good.

Yeah, it does. I got food poisioned from papa johns, damn chicken pizza. Last time I order from them...ggrrrr....Domino's all the way for me now..LOL.
