Default 1.6 injector question

what would cause the injectors not to squirt? i have fuel to the rail but i don't know if the injectors are squirting.

i have no starting at all but it will start and run rough on starting fluid.

you have fuel to the rail? to the main relay is turning the pump on..

i was told there are 2 different types of cps's on these. one controlls spark and one controlls the injectors. any truth to that? if i have a bad one that controlls the injectors then it would start with starting fluid.

There are three sensors in the distributor, actually. Honda's documentation suggest the sensors can kind of serve as back-ups although all three produce different signals (one, four, or 24 pulses per cam revolution). The CMP signal is pretty much only needed for sequential control of the injection, although it may be possible for the ECU to control the injectors without it. Maybe someone who's had it break can chime in?

the wierd thing is this distributor came of the semi running motor so i would think that it would still be ok.
