Default iacv question

Can a dirty iacv cause a lack of power? I was running rich for a while and thinking it probably needs a cleaning. It has a erratic idle at times and theres hardly any power it feels like. Im sure running rich does affect the intake but I'm wondering if that could be the cause. When I first did my swap on my d15b it was running really rich but it really hauled. But then after wards it just kind of lost a lot of power. I just want that power back.

the iacv isn't going to cause you to lose power when your foots on the gas. its called an idle air control valve because it effects just how the engine is running at idle. when you mash the gas your tb opens 100% and what the iacv is doing at that point doesn't really matter. So if you're experiencing a massive loss of power its certainly not your iacv. look into other possible causes. perhaps its jumped time
