Does anyone have specs for the RSX type R as in stopping distance, quarter mile time, skid pad?

 

since the US version of this car doesn't exist yet how can anyone have numbers?

 

well i've asked for simalar stats of the JDM Dc5-R, but the only info i could get is its 2 seonds faster on the track than the old dc2-R , and 0-60 in 6.1 , but not much else *still waiting*

 

From what i've read US ppl wont get the JDM spec anyway...

North America has the Type-S......... I don't think we are gonna get the R over here anytime soon.........

 

I have heard a lot of ppl telling me rumours of JDM DC5R is coming to Australia this October due to poor sales of the current DC5-R....

Yes but who knows how modified those cars were. To me, it seemed as though the DC2s were tuned ALOT more than the DC5s. The DC5s even had the interior in (if I remember correctly).

Do you have any links to that video. There was a link to the DC2 vs DC5 race, but the link was dead. Do you have DSL?

My friend blew his RSX-S twice. First time, he misshifted and the piston flipped, smacked his tranny, and punched a hole in his oil pan, and his head was totally gone. If you ever see the geometry of the K-series pistons, they're pretty weak....they're thin and they come down in a triangle.

 

And the second time??

 

I've heard/read 14.3 1/4 mile.

 

Misshifted again, not sure what happen to the motor this time, but at least one of the pistons were gone for sure. I've never seen spark plugs look so mangled.

 

And he's blaming it on the car???

Why not?

Plenty of people have mis-shifted B-series motors without managing to throw its guts out of the block.

Besides, the cable shifters on those shitboxes suck like a 12-hour Celine Dion concert. The gates are ill-defined and shifter feel is completely nonexistant.
