Default How to adjust clutch cable?

I just put a new clutch cable in my crx. I was wonering if there were any specific adjustments, after installing the new one when i would try to release the clutch, it would release slowly and then kind of pop out, well not pop out, but suddenly release faster, anyone know what my problem is and how to fix it?

adjust it by tightening the threaded nut right near the release arm. if the clutch engages right off the floor then tighten it some more, if it lets out high then loosen it slightly
