(Using drivers controlls)
passenger window-works fine up and down
rear window-works fine up and down
driver window- goes down but will not come back up

there is a local shop about 30 seconds from my apartment and i cant park my car where i live with the window down so i had to go there to see if they could get the window back up. they looked at it and said its either the drivers side switch which has a short or the "control module"

they hooked up to my battery and bypassed everything to get the window back up (so i know the window motor is fine). i got a new drivers side switch and put it in.... Same problem is happening.

my question is what is the control module they are talking about and where is it located?

or any helpful advise or tips would be appreciated

 

did the window go up normally when bypassed. When hooked up normally does it even make noise trying to go up or can u help it back up?

yes, when bypassed the window did go up normally.

when hooked up normally it doesnt make a sound. no possible way of helping it back up... like ur not hitting the button at all
