Default A few problems with my del sol

I've only had this car about a month or so, it's the si (sohc vtec) model with about 72k miles on it, '95. Finally found some stock taillights for it that I will have in by the end of the week, but there's a few concerns and problems I'm not familiar with. My expertise is limited to CRXs but I didn't know if any of the problems listed here are just typical for a del sol or not.

1. I can hear gas sloshing around sometimes, if I turn the car really quick I can hear it, but as for driving without turning sharply it doesn't happen. I think it may be the gas cap as it fits kind of funny and it seems to do better when I put it on very forcefully.

2. Not sure if it's related to the sloshing around of the gas or not, but the fuel needle on my cluster doesn't really work. When I have a full tank it will go up to the F but after about 1/4 tank is gone it will just drop down to E and then it comes up and down, what appears to be randomly after that.

3. Trunk latch works randomly (my buddy with a del sol had this problem but somehow it seems to have corrected itself, I can't figure it out for mine)

4. Top leaks right over the driver side in the corner (towards the front of the corner or upper left corner of the top if you're sitting in the car). I don't know if the moldings need to be moistened or not, I thought I read something about the tops being recalled but I'm not sure if this was already done for my car.

Thanks in advance for the replies, like I said it's nothing too big but I'm obsessive when it comes to my cars.

I think you should try getting yourself a new gas cap b/c u shouldn't have to force it on. the needle thing is common in a lot of hondas that i've seen, but i know a lot of guys that just say screw it and always make sure to have gas. my civic is like this but its a minor problem. my del sol didn't have a trunk latch? only gas tank. if you mean the 1 in the trunk then u should check the plastics around it, they might be getting stuck. the leak is very common with the del sols. what happens is the rubber gets too soft around the top of the glass. for a cheap fix we just silicone around it. or you can shoot silicone into the rubber to make it hard again, or just replace it. i bought new weather strips from honda for about $250 for the pair.
