Default ecu question

i got some ecu questions for you guys. i have a itr motor with crower cams, valve springs, retainers. right now i'm running it off a 94-95 gsr ecu. i was wondering if i should use this ecu and chip it. if so, what program do you guys recommend? or, should i just find a stock itr ecu?

At the minimum, get a stock ITR ecu. The maps for a GSR vs. a TypeR are completely different. Completely different amounts of air flow through the engines: TypeR cams flow more than GSR cams, not to mention the single runner IM on the ITR. Cheap recommendation (time + money): ITR ecu + VAFC.
