I use to have 19"s and NEVER again. Yeah they looked kinda good but rode like ***! They were loud, bent easily, blew tires. Yeah no more, now I am 17" and LOVE it.

From a performance aspect you want the smallest wheel you can run that will clear the brake caliper. I am upgrading to a wilwood caliper so I'll be sticking with 17".
A lot of people think they are improving their performance by getting a bigger wheel. Even if it is lighter you are increasing the overall diameter of the wheel tire combo and the heaviest part of that combo is the tire. The further you push this weight away from the center of it's axis the more performance takes a hit. Braking distances increase, acceleration decreases, increased unsprung weight puts additional stress on the suspension, the list goes on.
If all you care about is the look of your vehicle and the bling bling then by all means go with what you like.
I don't even like 19's on a G35 or a 350Z. I warned my brother in law not to get the factory 19's on his G but he didn't listen, now it's time to get tires and his performance tire choices are a tiny fraction of what would be available if he had gone with the 18's. Not only that the cost is way less too.

What are the specs on the wheels, look like 19x7.5-8. Offset looks like stock 45+.
