as i'm not allowed to post in the discussion forums i'll ask my question here.

does anybody know, where I could rent a honda, especially an S2000, in San Diego for a few days?

have you tried a car rental place?

 

dollar and hertz don't have any.
heard nothing good about avis so i didn't call them.

i thougth maybe a local could give me advise.

 

i doubt any rental places have them for rent. your best bet is to goto the dealership and test drive one

 

which is not fair to the dealer and i would like to have it for a couple of days...

you can rent all kinds of crazy shiet in Vegas. But you must treat the cars very well or prepare to pay.

anywho. yeah theres a place in Santa Monica That i know rents them.
i forgot the website, buut they were renting them for $99 a day.

so for the price of an AP2, you can drive around in a veyron for one day... hahaha thats [freak]in crazy...

 

There are some non-chain rental places that have s2000's... However, your best bet is to check out an avis that is next to / attached to an airport - they have Saturn Skys and Nissan 350z's.

 

I rented a g35 sedan from hertz when i went to florida, they also had the mustang gtz-h for rent but it would of cost me like $1500 for the week and you had to have to optional insurance..no matter what and that was $800 extra! I should of done it. the g35 was nice but a gt 500 would of been better! IDK why they wouldnt rent out s2ks. There a lot cheaper than a gt500 sand an infinitis.

 

hertz has a nice collection of cars. they have a corvette 'vert available for rent. That would be my choice anyway

i don't live here.. i'm not gonna buy one for 3 months, although they are really cheap here.

and, my car at home is much faster than your computer

 

When I rented a car from Avis in Florida they had several AP2s available to rent...no idea on pricing though.
