$, that few have done it, likely fewer yet have done it well, and that it won't be easy. IIRC, Dr. Charles [Madrid] did it years ago; I'd talk to him if you want it done properly.

I wouldn't do it, but it'd be interesting to see.

Not in an 'R', but my DC2:

I like it, very easy to see when redline is approaching (and yes, my car revs to 9k )

Fairly easy, a lot of wiring, a Modifry unit for ECT signal conversion, and a Speedohealer v4.0 for the MPH conversion.

I dont understand the point of doing this? the DC2 (gsr) and R both show ur info the same as the S2K would? to each his own I guess

Cheap alternative to a stack cluster

I have to admit, I didn't do this for any reason other than I thought it would be cool and found a cluster for a really cheap price.

BUT, it is a hell of a lot easier to see when redline is approaching, and to see what speed you are going than the traditional needle dials. So there really is a reason that racecars and motorcycles use this type of gauge.

Looks pretty neat in there.

all of the MILs, temp gauge and fuel gauge are all accurate?

Yeah, all MIL's work, with the Modifry temp converter you can even program what temp each bar goes on at. I'm not sure if the fuel gauge is accurate, lowest I've been down to is 1/8th tank. Other people have said that it works fine.

Actually it has nothing in common with a stack cluster besides the digital display, a more accurate discription would be "An expensive alternative to a 1980s LeBaron cluster".

I actually find myself never using the tach, in my S2000 or my Integra, I can tell when the car is at redline by sound, so I can't comment on it being easier to know when you are at redline (I try not to look at the cluster when I'm near redline, most likely the road/track ahead is more critical ).

The speedo is easier to see/determine speed at a quick glance though.

Wait, are you actually saying that the fuel gauge is accurate in your S2K? Mine isn't... well no lights does mean "about empty" but the rest of the gauge is more of a "best guess at being almost sorta in the ballpark" accuracy.

LOL touche!

yeah, I suppose mine isn't entirely 'accurate' either. I recall after a track day I was driving home and I had 3 bars left on the fuel gauge (AP2). but the time I had traveled 2 miles away from the track there were NO bars left on the gauge! But I still made it another 18 miles to the gas station.

LOL, I guess Honda figured S2k owners would like a little more excitement when driving.

id put the cluster in for the following reasons

1.looks nice

2. digital numbers [easier to see]
&
3.instead of a needle, its a bar for the RPM

Where can I find this plug and play harness. I have a s2000 cluster that I have been waiting to install but wasn't sure if I wanted to go through the wiring hassle.
