Default most noticable things to know alternator or battery is going

Well ive been noticing that my head lights are dimming out if i drive my car under 3k rpms and if im sitting in a parking lot and use both my window switchs at once the cluster will dimm and my idle will drop about 150rpms, and if my stero is to loud with alot of bass it turns offs.

Alternator not charging battery? should i replace to a high amp alt as i got a nice stero system and get a new 3 year warrenty battery?

Well, it might also be your electronic load detector. that tells the alt to kick up the power output. If its not working right, your alt wont work right.
